Refund Policy

This Refund Policy describes the terms governing payments, cancellations, refunds, and subscription-related matters for files.school by Styx Corp operated by Styx Corp LLP.

By purchasing or subscribing to files.school by Styx Corp, users agree to this Refund Policy.

1. Subscription-Based Service

files.school by Styx Corp is a digital subscription-based software platform providing cloud storage, archive management, and file organization services for schools and educational institutions.

Access to the platform is provided digitally and begins after successful payment and account activation.

2. No Refund Policy

Unless otherwise stated in writing, all subscription fees, setup charges, onboarding charges, add-ons, and service payments made to files.school by Styx Corp are non-refundable.

  • Upgrade payments

3. Trial Access

Where trial or demo access is provided, users are encouraged to evaluate the platform before purchasing a subscription.

Purchasing a subscription after using a trial or demo constitutes acceptance of the platform “as available” at the time of purchase.

4. Cancellation of Subscription

Users may cancel future renewals of their subscription at any time.

Cancellation will stop future billing cycles or automatic renewals where applicable. However, cancellation does not automatically generate refunds for already processed payments.

Access may continue until the end of the active subscription period.

5. Failed or Duplicate Payments

In cases of duplicate transactions, technical billing errors, or incorrect multiple charges caused by payment gateway failures, users may contact support for review.

Approved duplicate or erroneous charges may be refunded after verification.

6. Service Interruptions

Temporary interruptions, maintenance windows, infrastructure outages, internet failures, or third-party service disruptions do not automatically qualify for refunds.

While we aim to provide reliable service availability, uninterrupted operation cannot be guaranteed.

7. Account Suspension or Termination

Accounts suspended or terminated due to violations of the Terms of Service, abuse of the platform, unauthorized activities, illegal usage, or non-payment shall not be eligible for refunds.

8. Data Retention After Expiry

Upon subscription expiry, upload access may be disabled, account access may become restricted, and files may remain temporarily accessible during the retention period.

Unless otherwise specified, data may be permanently deleted after 90 days from subscription expiry.

Users are responsible for maintaining backups of important files where necessary.

9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Initiating fraudulent or unauthorized chargebacks while continuing to use the service may result in immediate account suspension, restricted access, permanent termination, or legal recovery actions where applicable.

Users are encouraged to contact support before initiating payment disputes.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
